Just a quick question about how airline crews get paid.

Ok, I know they don't get paid from the time they check in. But when does their actual paying working hours start? Only for the length of time when the aircraft is in the air? Or as soon as the chocks are removed?

My hourly flight pay DOES start from the time I checkin until the time I check out and goes into my bank on payday with my basic salary.

Calculation regarding flight time and then apply flight time rate.

Added to usual salary but its never more than a few mars bars a month!
