Instrument Time

Hi,

I'm just wondering, for anyone that's flying anything fully IFR (filed IFR, in addition to actually flying that way, such as in a regional jet), what are you logging under instrument time. Technically speaking, I'm always under instruments even though it could be screaming VFR. Would you log this as Actual or Simulated. Actual since you really are flying actual (must be IFR above the appropriate FL as well)? Can anyone shed any insight (that knows for a fact)? Thanks very much!

I do not log instrument time in day VMC. I do log instrument time night, over water. Other conditions vary, mainly with the existence of a visible, easily discernible horizon.
