Why be a pilot?
After 20 years in GA I still ask why be a pilot.
I've seen the crap u put up with and for the small sucsess rate is it worth IT.
I never paid any one to teach me anything.
Other than public education costs.
Is this wrong?
But I have done it for my kids
any recomendations for PILOT education

Happiness is......a greaser in a gusty lumpy crosswind
Satisfaction is.....being complimented by the cabin crew for the landing
The reason I go to work.....because EVERYDAY is different

didn't like an office job,or a 'every day it's the same' one.Every flight it's different,in all aspects....
And also, most of the reasons specified in above posts...
And also, most of the reasons specified in above posts...
I was too much coward to become a bank robber, too scrupulous for politician, attorney or manager, too stupid for rocket scientist, too ugly for a movie star, too aurally challenged for a pop singer...
...so I became a pilot, because I thought the pay was as good as in aforementioned honourable professions.
