helo every one
i'm a student pilot who passed the ppl stage
i'd like to know a little bit about tristar is it efis equipped and what is efis?

A fairly recent search will bring up a lot of useful information about the Lockheed tri-motor, as DLC especially was discussed at length just a short while ago.

Also, no EFIS...all steam gauges.
This way, the older folks positively KNOW 'what the hell is it doing now?'......

In the early 1980's the Lockheed owned test L-1011, s/n 1001, had two cathrode ray tube (CRT) displays installed on the first officers position replacing, the original analog instruments. However, no production L-1011 have EFIS.
