I'm planning to buy a 747 headset, not looking for any specific model just a reasonable price. Any suggestions?

Any TSO approved headset will do; open ear are preferred due to lack of hot mic for intercom. Telex for regular headset; Sennheiser for Active Noise Reduction (Sennheiser has significant discount for ALPA members).
