Pilot changing countries

I'm an American pilot, and I fly for a great company in the the US. The wife has just gotten a very good job offer in Europe (Prague). I would like to keep on flying in Prague when we move. What steps should I take first? No EU passport, no JAR licenses....

You should probably try divorce!!

Sorry not funny I know....

Would guess you might get best answer from those PPRUNE members on the wannabes forumn, as they would prob have best knowledge on transfering a US to UK/JAA Licence...

Most suitable for you could be to try www.travelservice.aero -itīs a charter company operating 737-5/NG out of Prague. Maybe also www.absjets.com or .aero. They fly bizjets-Citations and Legacys. Anyway they can help you with license at least. In Slovakia-Bratislava is lo-co SkyEurope Airlines- www.skyeurope.com .They operate 737/5/3 and expecting NGs. Distance from Prague about 350km on highway. There is already American working with them. Good luck. F.S.
