Wet Drills, Fire & Smoke training. How long should records be kept?

I was just wondering how long a previous company has to keep your training records for all your SEP training. I'm trying to get hold of them from my previous employer, but they seem to have "lost" them and my current lot would like them.

I left under a year ago and I believe that they should be kept for around 15 months. Can anyone confirm this? Or reference me to where I can find the info.

Thanks in advance.
