Sennheiser and Q400s

I have a Sennheiser HMEC 25-KA headset and I am presently on training on the Dash 8Q400. My headset does not work in the sim. Neither does my sim partner's headset(same model). Does anyone know if this headset works on the real airplane? Has anyone had any problems?

Yep works fine
The Q400 even has a handy mounting for you to attach the batt unit
Well its really the bracket for the CB light unit but that's what I use it for

Thanks alot. That puts my mind at ease. How is it for the wind noise which I heard is pretty high on the Q400?

Putting the windshield wipers in the vertical position takes away a lot of the wind noise.
