Wink Picking shiny new frames up from the shop

Evening all, just after peoples thoughts and tales after picking up a new build (Airbus or Boeing) from the factory.

I've been lucky enough to pick up two newies from Seattle a couple of years ago. Had a great time!! Boeing treated us like Kings. First time whisked away to a MLB Baseball game in their corporate box - free beer! Next time they took us out on the Boeing yacht for a splendid evening with a five course dinner and flowing champs!!

Just after comparisons on how the two companies treated the crews going out to collect they mounts.

Was it super in Seattle and Top in toulouse??

TS

I rode a new 742 PAE-HAM about 27 years ago - no interior except for a few well-used PAX seats. But in the hold were several boats and I think two C-172's for the DLH flying club.

Sad to say I arrived at Boeing too late to enjoy any of the festivities.
