HEY GUYS ,IT IS SIMPLE & Easy
during cross wind landing :
apply eleron opposite wind direction as required
apply rudder with wind direction as required
then you will maintan center line

So with a crosswind from the left, I apply right aileron, is that what I should do? Sounds a bit fishy to me!

Dear boy, I was being factious.

Wind is always described as 'coming from' rather than 'going to', e.g. landing on RW36, if wind is 270/xx, that is to say from the left, one applies left aileron and right (i.e. opposite) rudder.

Your advice was liable to be misconstrued.
