Family flight decks

Evening PPRUNE,

Is their any family crews around ie. Farther(Captain), Daughter (F/O) or Farther(Captain), Son(F/O) or the mother being the captain etc...

This is probably very rare but is quite possible.

Thanks

Scott Waterworth

Royal Brunei a few years ago, father and son, one a capt the other a SFO, dad retired, son now Capt. Two brothers, both SFO, and now both Capt, I think both now left. Several local family ties though, brothers and cousins etc. All had flown together at some points, very odd and confusing sometimes.

Around here, nepotism is a pre-requisite for employment, therefore we have numerous father / son, brother, cousins, uncles flying together…. Strangely enough, we have no women pilots

At UPS we have several husband and wife pilots, all having got married since arriving here. We even have a husband (Capt) and wife (F/O) who fly the same trips on the A300 .

I remember back around 97 there was a Father / Son crew on a BA 744.

I think it was the Father's last flight too......

After 39 years of flying, I can honestly say the highlite{light} was flying a 320 with my son. Both ex Air Force; Dad c 130's- Son F 18's. We flew several trips together and enjoyed every minute.
If you get the chance; don't pass it up.
