Flight Deck Visits
Hi,
Sorry in advance if I am on the wrong forum...
Are there still any airlines who will allow an ATPL student like myself to take the jump seat? I know it is standard policy now to refuse admission onto the deck unless you are co. employee or a member of a governing body etc, but do some airlines allow it?
It used to be so much fun..sitting down the back is simply not the same...

I believe you can still (legally!) visit the flightdeck after the engines have been shutdown on arrival. I suppose all you have to do is relay a request to the flightdeck via the cabin crew or be lucky enough to bump into one of the FD crew as they head for the crewrest on a long flight
