Nose Nb

I saw this on the taxiway at DFW right before the threshold (of the southbound runways on the East side)

can anyone tell me what it means as it's a new one to me

I suspect it really said Noise Nb, but I don't know what that means wrt to airport ops. (Nb - noise blanker.)

Need more info!Was it painted on the taxiway or was it on a sign? If on a sign, what color was it? If it was painted on the asphalt where was it? Hold short line? Clues man! I need clues!

It was black on yellow, maybe with a black border, about say two foot (sorry 50cm) square, painted on the taxiway tarmac, just before the threashold. There were at tleast two of them I think.


I like Narrow Body though, like on the tube when they have a series of numbered signs and if you have that many cars in your train, you stop at the appropriate sign.

Narrow-body covers a lot though, long metal tube behind if you're a DC8-71 stopping at the same place as an A319.
And why would a Nb nose have to stop in a different place from a Wb nose ? And what's a 767 - Mb ?

Enquiring minds need to nose err.. know.
