US->Afghanistan Ferry trip - requirements?
What are the equipment and regulatory requirements to ferry a Beech King Air from USA to Afghanistan, in support of a contractor that will be operating there?
The airplane in question is non-RVSM, non-TCAS. Standard Collins avionics.
Obviously this will require flight into European Airspace, and of course into US military controlled Afghan airspace.
Fuel stops, equipment, comments, ideas, etc.
The performance profile of this airplane is non-stop endurance of 5 hours, TAS of 270 knots. Service ceiling FL 350.

For Europe:
You'll need B-RNAV (http://users.forthnet.gr/ath/mpang/whatis.htm).
Since it is non-RVSM equipped, you'll get max FL280 assigned.
Re TCAS:
With effect from 1 January 2005, all civil fixed-wing turbine-engined aircraft having a maximum certificated take-off mass exceeding 5,700kgs, or a maximum approved passenger seating configuration of more than 19, will be required to be equipped with ACAS II.
Hope this helps.
