Question CAT I minima setting during CATII/III

Hello there.
B737 fail-passive operator: We have a discussion whether it is practical, during a CAT II/III approach to have CAT I minima displayed using the Reference Altitude Marker. The argument goes, that this enables you to continue to your CAT I minima, even if your have an onboard system failure that downgrades your approach-capability to CAT I. What do you do in your company, and for what reason?
Kind regards

We used to do the same in the past. But now we don't do any "troubleshooting" below 1.000' AGL in a CAT II/III approach. Just Go-Around.

regards

Just to add, you have to be cleared to land by CAT I minimum
when landing CATII/III.

We do set CAT I minima on the baro altimeter bug, during CAT II&III approaches.
The main policy for us is: if WX conditions are somewhat over CAT I, you may brief for a CAT III app and forecast an eventual downgrade to CAT I.
If the weather is far below CAT I minima, and you have your capability affected after the OM or FAF, and you don't have reference to continue visually, then it's a go-around situation.
