Thumbs up Airbus Pre-Conversion Studying.

Hi there,
I'm just about to start an airbus conversion course and was wondering if anyone could recommend some pre-course studying material.
Many Thanks.

Find a mate who went to an orange airline. They all get given bus cd's. have a read through, but don't go into too much detail.

er82,

Check out the following link. Plenty of useful stuff on the bus, including tech data etc. Also some "interesting" videos and quite a few links to other sources of info. The paragraph below is from the site

"The training focus of this site is for the Airbus A319/320/321 series aircraft, with supplementary A330 information. I have included the Flight Scenario Question and Answer Study Guide, TGS Study Guide, Simulator Callouts and Approach Briefing Guide, Type Rating Oral Guide, and CQT Scenarios. There are also several study aids such as the By Pilots For Pilots A320 study software, Flight Operations Journals, a Lights and Switches Guide, FMA Guide, various system schematics, and the Eric Park's Airbus Training Notes available for download."

I would recommend to do absolutely nothing. That way you pick up stuff far easier in the course and it's easier to stay concentrated. Because most of it is easy, simple and can be mindnumbing at given times. The CBT is like any CBT, if you have a conversion on CBT before, you'll know what I mean..
