Fare prices and fuel surcharges ?
Why do the airlines add a fuel surcharge to each ticket coupon instead of just raising the airfare ?
As staff we pay the full fuel surcharge on a discount ticket which is starting to bite on a regular commute. I am sure this makes a bit of cash for the airline but wouldn't it make a lot more by putting a flat % increase over the whole airfare ?
