Air Conditioning on A320 Air Freshener
Hello, when i flew recently from Tenerife to Manchester on boarding the aircraft, i believe it was G-TTOI of Gb Airways there was smoke coming out of the air conditioning outlets, but not just any smoke it was air freshener. My question being is this a standard thing or has BA exploited the air conditioning to save time on spraying down the cabin.
Thanks

Tenerife? I imagine it was fairly humid there then.
Cold dry air-conditioned air blowing out of the ducts at "High Flow" to accelerate cooling... mixing with the humid air in the cabin makes it appear like a visible curtain of air (looks smoke-ish).
Cabin may have been sprayed with freshener a short while earlier, thus the effect

The smoke startled me at first until i picked up the smell so naturally thought it was air freshener. It was fairly hot that night too, thanks for the explanation.
