I'm sure this has been covered many times by PPRUNE topics, but came to mind when I heard about an announcement that my parents heard whilst en-route from EGHH to EGAA with a well known low cost airline.
The pilot (apparently sounded German) made a great 10mins inflight broadcast to the pax including loads of info, facts and trivia.
The one that most caught the attention of the paxs was
".. and we are flying at 28,000ft... from this height, if you fell out it would take you 2.5 mins to hit the ground!!"
Not sure if this is factually correct but perhaps comes under the title.. ." Too much info"

One at our club did higher than this and was in the Guinness Book of records for the length of descent. Turbo Porter on the way up, they were on supplementary O2 of course.
