Vintage Aircraft west of LGW

Does anyone know any info about the vintage aircraft that has just passed 15 miles west of LGW. My very uneducated guess is that it was a Vickers Vimy?!

It may be one of the De Havilland Rapides which took part in the VE/VJ day flypast.

HF,
Thanks for the answer. I think it might be something else as it had twin rudders. It did have two engines though.

Edited as I think I may have found an answer. It looks like Steve Fossett has recently flown across the Atlantic in a Vimy.
