Opc

Hello,

I have a small question about the OPC, is this check mandatory for the company, or is it the company choice to do it or not?
Do you know some countries where there is no OPC, but direct supervision?

Thank you

LPC/OPC alternates under JAR for UK public transport operations, and replaces the old CAA base checks. Under both systems you jumped through the hoops every 6 months or so.

An OPC is legally required. No entry will be made in your licence and no paperwork gets sent to the CAA. The paperwork for an OPC is purely internal and remains with the company and your training records will show the OPC accordingly.

Can the OPC be done by a TRI or does it have to be done by a TRE?
