Off track PNRs

Does anyone have any notes/methods helpful for solving off track PNRs graphically? Any help at all is much appreciated.

I've got a method which is a mixture of (simple) plotting and VERY simple maths (based upon pythagorus). If you are interested, leave a post on this thread and I'll post the answer (then the people with the real brains can validate it!).
