How do I log this time?
Hello all,
I have the opportunity to fly as a "safety pilot" in a CJ1 and I am wondering if I can log the time. Here are the facts.
The plane is registered in JAA territory.
The plane is certified for single pilot operations.
I have a JAA CO,ME,SE,IR and an FAA CO,ME,SE,IR.
I have JAA and FAA First Class Medicals.
I am not type rated on the aircraft.
I have a JAA and a separate FAA logbook.
What are people's thoughts?
Thanks,
GC

As a safety pilot on your JAR CPL/IR you'd put SNY under operating capacity and no time logged (stick it in the "other flying" column and annotate SNY in remark field), I believe.
