Aussies with JAA!!!

Are there any Aussies out there that have been through the pains taking task of acquiring a UK JAA licence or equivalent and any recommendations of how do go about getting one. My experience: 4600hrs total, ICAO ATPL, Multi-Command endorsed etc. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
