Question Beech 1900

Is this aircraft still in production? If not, does anyone know why they stopped production?

Nope it's out of production Raytheon pulled the plug on the 1900 I guess about 18 months or two years ago (something like that anyway).

The writing on the wall came with the large scale phase out of the type from US regionals.

There are significant numbers availble and the price is right... so expect a lot of interest from cargo feed operators. There may also be a market for the type especially Cs (the less ugly one - the D always reminds me of a spawning salmon) as corporate shuttle aircraft (much cheaper than a King 350 on cost of ownership)
