Airspeed bugs in the cruise

Where does everyone put the white airspeed bugs in the cruise.

I have seen them on Vref30 speed then another on Vref30 +100 and also a couple either side of the command airspeed bug.

Not seen anything written down. Any views welcome.
Thanks.

All bunched together so I know that app speeds haven't been set (after nearly landing with t/o speeds set). Same goes for the turnaround.

It used to be our SOP to double bug Vref30 & Vref30+100 once past FL200. Some still do it, some dont.

not sop at our firm, but haver seen all bugs being set to zero to remind that brief and bugs not done. Other thining is to leave vclimb bug alone as it gives you a rough VMD for glide if you are unfortunate enough to join the double hush club.

Two at engine out speed and two at -100kts from that which sorta equates to Vref30.

Airspeed bugs are needed (or, if you like, desired) for takeoff and landing, but otherwise, IMO are no use in cruise whatsoever.

I use the V bugs on my 320:
for take-off - V2 & green dot,
in cruise - VMO & green dot & VLS (or VS),
for appr - green dot & VREF (i.e. Appr speed).
But it's not a "must" ofcourse! Some of my colleagues never touch them at all because it's not SOP...
That's it!
