Hkcad Licencing?
Hi, Could anyone out there in HK with a UK licence please tell me if the UK PERF A exam equates to the HKCAD Airtransport Perf Exam on converstion?

No it doesn't. The HKCAD exam is a lot easier, but if you take the conversion, you will need to write it nonetheless. Generally speaking, UK ATPL holders will need to take Air Law Parts A and B, as well as Performance Transport, Type Technical and Type Performance.

Think of it as jumping through hoops to put ticks in boxes mate. You'll be hard pushed to fail it anyway. I'd say the exam requires about 5 or 6 hours study to get through it well.
