Aircraft Ferrying

I need to get a Cessna 172 from the US over to the UK. Now, I've been told that ferrying the thing over is pretty expensive, and pretty dangerous too (go figure!)

I was wondering if anyone knew how much it'd cost to have the wings taken off, put in a container and have it shipped from East Coast US, to a port here in the UK?? Anyone know who can do this and how much it'd cost?? And also, if anyone has a clue to how much it'd cost to have the aircraft 'airworthy' again when the wings are put on here again??

All help appreciated.
