Line Checks on Partner Airlines

Is it still common practice with some airlines to conduct line checks with another airline owned by the same parent company?

A colleague was telling me that when LTU fully owned LTE and operated it as their Spanish subsidiary, LTE pilots would be doing line checks on LTU flights.

Is this still the case, i.e. Britannia and Thomsonfly pilots doing their line checks with Hapag Lloyd or HL Express for example?

Line Check on Partner Airlines

The first LTE-Pilots did their initial Typerating and Supervision Flights on the B757 at LTU. No Linechecks have been conducted by LTE Pilots on LTU Flights.
