Question a few general questions

hi,

just a bit curious on a few things, im an aviation student at his first steps, next year studying commerical

1- what is that noise in the cockpit, like something "buzzing"?

2- why during takeoff lights are turned off in cabin?

3- how can a cell phone/reciving device cause issues to cockpit instruments?

thanks

1- The engine

2- So when the "buzzing" noise stops, and you evacuate, you can see where you are going

3- May set off confusing buzzing noise in cockpit, leading to pilot thinking the component mentioned in point 1 has stopped, leading to point 2 occuring

Clear?
