Embraer 145 too costly? LX willing to get ride of them?

A/ I'm being told that the Embraer 145 drags an history of costly repairs and maintenance checks, making it more expensive in operation than an Avro Jumbolino. I can't believe it. Any clues?

B/ I'm being told that Swiss Int'l Airline, which already remarked ten of its E-145 in the US, is wanting to get ride of her 15 remaining E-145 for the above mentionned reason. Any clues?

Hello,

Got a friend who flies the ERJ145 for a Regional European Carrier and according to him the 145 is a cost efficient aircraft and easy to make money from.

As for Lx trying to get rid of them, im not sure...

Flew the 135 and 145 for a couple of years. Did not seem to have any excess expenses then any other aircraft I have flown.

I was told by a Swedish crew that it's a great aeroplane (airplane - for our U.S. cousins) to make money with! It apparently has quite a low break-even factor.
