Duty time and Santa Flights

Sat in the bar of the Sky City hotel in Rovaniemi last Saturday by the fire with a beer watching the day trip crews check into the hotel having watched the influx to EFRO from the ski slope (the only place with any snow!)

I assume that the crews just day stop rather than night stop; how does this work in duty time limitation terms? I could look it up but being lazy thought I'd ask. Or is a crew change required and hence a night stop?

cheers
B
