UK vs. US Airline Jobs

Hi Everyone,

I have dual UK/US pilot qualifications and the right to live and work in both countries. Living in the U.S. I am fairly familiar with the life of a US airline pilot. I want to compare it with the life of a UK airline pilot. I understand that ther are bound to be some major differences even between UK airlines, but I am looking for some general info.

I am thinking along the lines of pay scales, free travel perks, how much the seniority list plays a part in determining career progression/changes, schedules and all that good stuff. any info would be greatly appreciated.

You're wasting your time asking Wannabes about the finer points of a UK professional pilot's life. They don't yet have that information. If you want to know, you should ask professional pilots! Therefore, I will move this post.
