GIVE US A JOB PRETTY PLEASE

any advice on how to get that first job, would be most helpful im currently an instructor with thousands of hours and just about every rating you can get! HELP!

You know what they say - once an instructor.... . . . . . .

(Sorry, couldn't resist :)). You've got further than I have, so I don't have much advice, except that the few instructor - cum - line pilots I have spoken to have described their recruitment procedures with KLM etc. as being similar across the board, i.e. looney test, group exercise, interview designed to put you under pressure, and finally a sim ride. That's probably no help at all, but what can you expect at this time of night?

Good luck anyway.

you are a top person pie! you think with the 20 hours on a 737 I had someone would want me. DOH!

Pielander 2nd April 2001 04:50

If I had a 737, then I'd give you a job! Unfortumately, the only 737 I have is on FS2000, and on my present salary, it would take me 2000 years to save up for the real thing. (that's if I gave up eating and lived in a box). http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/frown.gif

(I originally said 200 years. If only!.)

I also have a 737, but it's attached to the ceiling with thread, and whirls round and round in circles... which might get a bit boring...

Good luck with the job hunt..

Baggy can I have a job on your 737 and go round in circles, at least it would be a start.

any landing you can walk away from is a good one, a landing which we can use the aircraft again is exeptional

skylord757,

You can have a go in my 737 if you like, but I'm afraid that the destinations are ...limited, and there is a record of airsickness!

Oh yes, and it's only 2 inches tall!

skylord757 2nd April 2001 20:50

It's ok Baggy I have a good supply of sickness bags and I am very short. :)
