Accommodation at Heathrow

In a few weeks im off to Cranebank for my FB. Does anyone have any advice on any decent hotels in the area and any info on prices etc.

Thanks

BA have their 'own' hotel across the road from the Compass Centre called 'The Aurora' which is used exclusively by BA for standby crew. Ask them nicely and they might let you check in there...

EGPFlyer,

I stayed twice - Jarvis - (looks like a castle!) - expensive but plush!

Also stayed at the IBIS - very uncomfortable bed but cheap.

Personally if I had the opportuniy to do it again (BA change your age limit please) I would pay the extra money and go for the Jarvis

The Travelodge in Heathrow does rooms at a flat rate of £49.00 and are very good standard!

I've stayed at the Jarvis a couple of times. Each time it was only £40 and I got breakfast the last time (January), although eating it was difficult with the nerves! I think they were weekend rates though as they were Sundays.

It's only a 10 minute walk to Cranebank too, the nearest hotel you can get.

PS

EGP, when is your FB? And when did you send in the medical form? I sent mine 10 days ago and haven't heard yet.

Cheers
