Hi bluskis

I was confused on this point, so I posted a query on the Private Flying forum, & I am not the only one, as several others, seemed uncertain of the present situation.

Anyhow, apparently an IMC test on a S/E is still valid on a M/E. BUT for anyone who flies a M/E it is advisable to do the IMC test on a M/E.

Mind you, IMHO it is totally illogical that an IR test on a S/E is NOT valid on a M/E, whilst an IMC test IS!

Are well, perhaps we should all suspend logic, when studying CAA/JAA regulations :D
