That Final Decision
Put yourself in my shoes for a second, and help me make that final decision.
I'm fortunate enough to have the funds available to complete both options below, without being in debt on completion. I understand the market and all that, so therefore just an opinion on what you think would be a better way of training? Full Time Stapleford Flight Centre (London): PPL, Hour Building, Pro-Pilot ATPL Residential on site at Stapleford, CPL, ME, IR, MCC & JOC. Or FlyEft, Florida: PPL, Hour Building, Distance Learning ATPL, CPL, ME, IR Return to UK to do IR Conversion and MCC/JOC. From my point of view I can see Pro's and Con's of each, however they both work out approximately the same price. Thoughts? |
As you say there are pro's & cons.. I thought about states for training, but didn't think i'd save that much £/$, after license conversions, maybe just the timescale. I went there to time build instead. If you want a job in UK, maybe better training in UK.
My 10cents - do the atpl study before the time building, that way if you find the exams to be a problem, you haven't forked out for the flying time. And, you'll have the flying as sweet reward for the hard-worked theory. Maybe also, you could apply some aspects of what you learnt during the theory.. Good luck! |
