to Sergei, some words of cautino, if not too late.

Sergei, according to my strong belief Moldova is not the EASA state. Although they issue JAA licenses (without EASA approval), Moldovian licenses aren't recognized in Europe and you won't be able to work there anyway.

If EU is your target, then check twice what you're gonna get - call to any other than Moldovian CAA: UK, Germany, Latvia and ask if your license will be valid over there.

Here is the link to the list of current EASA states: About EASA | EASA Members

Good luck!

for Skyspirit - you may generally get the Mogas (A-95 benzine) for about 0,7 - 0,8 euros per liter in Moldova. here are the ukrainean aviation forum links: Украинский авиационный форум - Главная страница
http://www.aviation.com.ua/forum/

for Alexsky - thank you for the caution message - when I got enrolled the old JAA still existed and Moldova was its full member since 2008; when it changed to EASA (which is still under construction at some directions) I did not follow up all the requirements/developments regarding the permissions for training it issues to the non-EU FTOs because my goal is not EU really (I will be happy to get a flying job here in Moldova at an airline or corporate). But if you know some good threads/sites that clearly reflect that such a permission is required to be sure that the licence will be EU/EASA accepted, I will be more than happy to get informed from there (I could not find this info on EASA site).

for Smirnov Jr. - thanks for the good wishes! - if you stay in Moldova and interested/involved in aviation world, it will be nice to meet you sometime on the apron/air field.

Alexsky, thanks for the precious info,we didn't know about it :E The problem actually lies in not being a EU member, which automatically disqualifies any moldavian passport holder from applying for any job within EU...So membership in EASA is really irrevelant(for us at least) for the time being.
Seghei,I am employed by Air Moldova,I think we might have met,but you can just send me a PM and we'll make a plan ;)
