This is a forum for people who would go "coo!" upon entering a 737 flightdeck and therefore be of little use to you in explaining the differences.

I suggest you repost on the tech log forum or similar. Alternatively the excellent http://www.b737.org.uk/ will give you a lot of info very easily.

Cheers

B737-200 Sim Time Wanted

Got the interview/sim ride coming up next month and want to get a couple of hours on the B737-200 sim - anyone know where I can do this and/or who to contact to arrange, preferably in Midlands.

Thanks for any help.

If Oxford can fit you in, they've got a 737-400. However the sim is very booked up- they might not be able to fit you in before you need it. And if you did get a slot, it would be at 03:00 or something.

Give Gail Longhurst @ OAT a call to arrange.

Also there is the 737-200 at Simtech, Dublin. Contact Parc and they may be able to set you up.

There are only two genuine 737-200 sims in Europe. Parc Aviation have one based at the Aer Lingus training facility in Dublin and offer airline prep courses (mainly using FR pilots). The other is Ryanair's own sim at EMA, but it is not available for private hire.

Bournemouth has a sim centre with some classics installed - B727, L1011 and Bac 1-11. All good for raw data scan.

Best bet for the 737-200

Would also recommend Yorkshire Flight Centre. Chance of a discount if you book last minute too. Kevin Medcroft the guy to speak to.

Howya
Try using www.smartcockpit.com. Plenty of questions on there which are divided into sections based on FCOM 2 i.e automatic flight, hydraulics, etc. I used this site together with those already mentioned whilst studying during my TR.
Best of luck buddy :ok:

Way off topic, but are they any of those great links for the Dash 8 Q400 that you can get access to, or some access for free, not quite ready to get my wallet out yet, just wanted to do a little swatting...

Some great links above though, especially for Airbus...

boogie-nicey 5th December 2006 14:47

Here's some Dash 'stuff' for you, hope it's of some use:
