Best of luck to all of you Wannabes who are working so very hard to achieve your dreams. Although aviation doesn't look very promising at the moment it will recover, don't give up!!
Seems like when you do, the right job opportunity is dropped in your lap just by being at the right place at the right time.
You're all welcome at my airfield anytime, since I'm the only employee running the place from the wing down to the toilet bowl, sorry I can't offer you jobs, but you can visit! ha!
(It's the home of TWA..."Teeny Weeny Airlines", one place, one passenger)

Well ladies and gentlemen it looks like there are a fair few of us in the North West. Who's up for a pint. Being the first to put forward a venue :) might I suggest Blackpool Airport (one of the clubs there has a reasonable bar and you dont have to be a member to have a drink TTFN DD

Yep, another one here.

Diver, that club wouldn't be ANT would it ? Great club to fly from, learnt there on a FS quiet a few years ago. And yeah, good (small) bar there, nice people.

DiverDriver 15th Jan 2002 14:12

Gonville, I was thinking more of Comed, but ANT would be fine. DD

Hell, why not try 'em both ! :)

CAP509castaway 16th Jan 2002 01:20

Why not try Barton while it is still there! :) :) :)

Talking of going for a pint, anyone fancy meeting up for the Pprune Northern Bash on Saturday 02 Feb in Liverpool? Come on, you know you want to...

If anyone's going, give me a shout - I should be finished with RNR training about 1700 on Saturday, and I'll definitely need a couple after that!

Preston? Barton? Manchester? The Wirral?

Sorry, maybe I'm stupid, but I thought with the North West UK you would be looking for people in ,I don't know-Stornoway?

North West England maybe.
