Post Wannabes North West UK

Are there any Wannabes out there in the North West UK interested in making/maintaining contact with others going through the same process.

I am currently doing my ATPL writtens via Bristol Groundschool, and still need to complete some hour building.

My thought is that on the days when motivation wains, or when the studying gets a bind/grinds to a halt. It can be helpful to be in contact with others experiencing the same issues - and at the same time receive some mutual support.

I look forward to hearing from anybody interested in taking this forward.

If anybody would like some help on the flying side I am available to give anyone abit of help. I was at Oxford , and a current QFI.Hour building can reduce the precision of your flying( I know I have done it myself!)
Leave your e-mail address if you are interested

Good to see there are enough of us to form a support group! I have finished all the writtens (thankfully) and have got the required hours logged before starting the CPL/IR etc. Just a pity about that swine Bin Laden ruining the market!

Is one of you kiond gents going to become the Chief Pilot of this little support club and organise a beer session some night?

I'm just finishing mod 1 with Bristol, resit exams on Monday, then hopefully straight into module 2.

Cool

Hi guys 'n' galls

I am 3 months into my integrated course in Jerez and am just re-settling in after my two weeks back in the cold, dark North West! I have got my first phase exams in March so the pressure is on! Feel free to email me, keep in touch!

Sound like a good idea!

I'm based in Preston; I did my PPL etc in South Africa last year, and I'm going back this year to do more qualifications and some PIC hour-building. However, I'm currently flying out of Blackpool (and soon Liverpool, hopefully), with aspirations torn between military and commercial flying. There's the intro, anyway...

Give me a shout if you're starting something up!

Hello people,

Another North Westerner here (Wirral). Currently working in a cold country in order to fund integrated course later in the year. If you're planning on meeting for a beer and sharing some thoughts or advice, drop me a mail and I'll schedule a visit home to coincide.
