EASA flight schools in the US.
I came across this flight school (European flight training, located in Florida): https://www.flyeft.com/airline-pilot...rack-programme, which looks really nice to me! Good price and they give you an EASA license.
I would love to do my flight training in the US, also for the experience as I have never been there before. Are there any good EASA flight schools in the US you recommend? |
Hillsboro Aero Academy near Portland Oregon does, or at least should shortly be doing, EASA fixed-wing courses. Some of those could be done under an F-1 visa, meaning the right to work part-time in the States while studying and full-time for about 2 years afterwards.

A colleague’s son trained at FIT aviation in Melbourne, Florida which has a very good reputation - I don’t know if they still do EASA, I assume so. His son stayed on the university campus which apparently was a lot of fun.
Certainly better than the UK weather wise! |
FIT has excellent facilities. The Director of Flight Operations, Nick Clarke, is extremely approachable and has an elphantine memory.
