Foreign CPL to EASA validation question
Hello,
Just wondering if there are any EASA licensing gurus out there.... Been searching through various regs and I'm trying to confirm if a 3rd country ICAO CPL (non EASA or UK) can be validated more than once in EASA land? By this, I don't mean the extra (up to) 1 year extension (of the same states validation) by enrolling in a conversion course but, on a per EASA state (country) basis. NB: The validation in question is for working commercially in a country such as in this example: http://www.caa.co.uk/Commercial-indu...ork-in-the-UK/ It is not the temporary validation for ferrying, testing etc, which is a different validation. For example: A foriegn pilot manages to secure a job (hypothetically) and through this sponsorship, manages to get a 1 year validation of their 3rd country ICAO CPL in an EASA state (say, Germany) and also obtains a class 1 medical for that state. They then work on that validation for 1 year and then leave that state and go to another EASA state. Can they do the same thing again in a different state and will they need to change the medical also? As a secondary question, regarding Brexit, would the EASA to UK or visa versa process be the same from next year? |
