How can an european go to USA take ATPL?
HI, i'm 21 and i'm currently trying to know, how could i study in the united states to have an ATPL license (both JAA and FAA) and at reasonable price/sponsored?
i'm from Europe and i would like some help in this, would it be possible to make this happen ? |
Some of the requirements for an FAA ATPL are:
Be at least 23 years old and hold an FAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with an instrument rating (IR) (FAR PART 61.153 (a/1) - see link below): Electronic Code of Federal Regulations: Have a minimum of 1500 hours of flight time (FAR PART 61.159 (a) - see link below): Electronic Code of Federal Regulations: In the US there is no such thing like a "frozen" ATPL which basically means possessing a CPL with an IR and having the ATPL theoretical exams passed. ATPL "forzen" is a European = JAA/EASA thing. Recommend to do some research, this kind of question is asked regularly here on the forum - see the following thread: http://www.pprune.org/professional-p...australia.html |
