Thumbs up Good news from Cork for wannabes!

Cork has been having a bumber summer season with the launch of many new routes by Jetmagic, CSA, bmi baby and now just last Friday, the Irish Aviation Authority has granted approval to Atlantic Flight Training Ltd, Cork for Single/Multi Instrument & Class Rating operating from their new FBO facility at the airport. Modular courses are available too.

Time has moved on. Since my first post poor Jetmagic has come and gone at Cork but even through all the dark days spring is at last flourishing forth and there are still good news stories coming out of beloved Cork Airport.

The Irish Aviation Authority last week completed it's audit of Atlantic Flight Training in Cork and the company has now commenced training for the Multi IR, Multi Class Rating, CPL, Instructor Rating, Night Rating and Single Engine IR.

Atlantic Flight Training has just taken delivery of a year 2000 Cessna 172 that is fully IFR and is capable of doing coupled GPS Approaches and they also have a Twin Engine Simulator at their Cork facility.

For any more info phone 00 353 21 4888737.

Hi Tom,

I've done a search but no luck, do you know if AFT have a website? Any ideas what their hourly rate is for PPL?
