IR Question as to where to do it?

All,
I need to redo my IR, well actualy do the whole rechid thing again as I'd let it go outside the five year renewal period. Yes, I know what you are going to say, but I took my eye off the ball as I was too busy bringing up a family.
So moving swiftly on, I need to revisit CAAFU. I don't need to do an approved course, just get a 170A signed. However, I'll need to renew my ME at the same time, but this is still inside the five years.
My question is where should I do it? I will not be able to take much time off, well maybe a week to do the test, but most of the sim stuff etc I'd need to do after work or at the weekends.
The nearest airfields in order of preference are Fairoaks, Redhill, Blackbush, Denham, Biggin hill, Booker, Elstree, Cranfield.
I've spoken to WAC once, but as of late they have not returned my phone calls or replied to my emails, so I'm looking for alternatives.
Also, am I trying to do the imposible in terms of doing an IR as well as working full time?
TIA
PS

Hi PS,
Like yourself I found myself with only a short spell of time available for a similar course. I was required to complete a full Multi conversion course and an IR in under 2 weeks.
I found that Bristol flight school were very helpful, and managed to get me throught both in my short time-scale.
Hope this helps.

FE,
Thanks for the reply. I may give them a call.
I know that Redhill run all the sim stuff at Redhill, then fly you down to Exeter for the test etc, but for some reason that I can't explain, I'm nervous about going there (Redhill not Exeter). I guess it's a tall order to do the sim stuff with one company and then do the flying somewhere else, but perhaps not. Any views?. I'll have a chat with the guys down at Bristol anyway.
btw, is Bristol a test center?
Regards
