Post Parachute jump in California?

Anyone know a good place I can do my first jump in California while I am flying out there?

Ta, French Valley perhaps?

Hi Village Flyer,

No mate, no sore nerve, I just found the AAIB report so riduculously bizzare. I mean, you could sort of imagine this happening at a small airfield involving a light aircraft and a PPL... but with a ATPL flying a 'commercial' aircraft at an airport the size of Coventry...

Still I guess stranger things have happened at sea! I wonder if the guy involved still has a job?

UKPPL,

100% agree, very stange indeed given the size of the field and the carriers commercial status.

On your question does he have a job, I have to ask which one?
the paranoid guy in the tower who thought he was been made a fool of,
or
the joking pilot refering to tossing someone off (sorry out of the plane),
or,
the simpleton whom I think was pushed out of the plane (joking of course)

It was not the only strange one this month, did you read the one on the guy handcranking the prop? friction nut on the throttle was loose, he was chasing the A/C, you would'nt see it in the flicks.
