Naples Distance Learning

Can someone give me feedback on the Naples DL course, notes, brush up etc? How does it compare to Bristol or Oxford??

Thanks

I dont think that the NAC distance learning course is running yet - the website just says "course approval coming soon".

If you want to do Distance learning why would you do it with NAC who have an excellent reputation for the flying part of training but not a lot of experience in JAA groundschool?

there are many uk providers of DL learning courses with respectfull records and pass rates.

Personally ,only my opinion,I would not go somewhere new when you have the most experienced providers here in the uk.

I passed all mine using the DL course that bristol groundschool offer, and they were just excellent.

Hope CP Richard Gentil does not take this as an offence infact it's just my opinion.

What happened to the IFTA DL course,or actually How many people have passed JAA ATPL exams using theyr notes?just curious.

M.A.,

No offense taken.

But since you asked, our program might not be the oldest on the market, but our staff is highly qualified with extensive experience.

We have some of the most up to date manuals in the DL field and since it is all modern, we have used the latest technology to make an online classroom that is unique to the DL field.

If you would send me an email, I would be happy to set you up with a logon to the online classroom, so you can experience it for yourself.

Happy Flying,

Capt. Richard J. Gentil, Pres.
Naples Air Center, Inc.

P.S. I do not believe IFTA ever had an Approved DL Program.

Sounds interesting!

Best of luck with the groundschool and the flying side of training.

Is the Distance Learning course via NAC all done over the net? Or are books etc still used?

It would be a great idea to have a fully web based course for the JAA ATPL, and we are working on it.

At present our course like everyone else is primarily paper based. The NACGROUNDSCHOOL.com Online Classroom is used to suppliment the paper materials, via the use of videos, feedback question papers, information libraries and a great discussion area. We also use it to have students take their assessments and final exams if they so desire.

A demo version of it will be up and running shortly. If you have any questions or would like to be put in contact with students already enrolled on the course please email Patrick Taylor at [email protected], he will be only too happy to help.
