Post Rainbows! UKft

Anyone been to Rainbow air centre CA to hour build? or anyone done a JAR multi at UKFT? If so I'd love to hear any experiences...please get in touch, I always get nervous when I am considering forking out hard earned wedge so any pointers about anything would be greatly appreciated,-email or whatever!

Cheers,

COLT

Try www.rainbowair.com
They have been around since 1979 and will be around for probably quite some time.
They are a flying club as well as a flying school and have a well established client base. It helps with the stability of the business

I HAVE FLOWN WITH BOTH IN THE PAST. UKFT IS RUN BY A CHAP CALLED AJAY SINHA, AND I GOT MY PPL WITH UKFT YEARS AGO. THEY OPERATE OUT OF LGB, WHICH IS A GOOD FIELD WITH CLASS B AIRSPACE AND FULL ILS ETC. I HAVE RENEWED VARIOUS RATINGS IN THE PAST. RAINBOW AIR IS VERY GOOD INDEED, WITH A FLEET OF MODERN CESSNA AND PIPER AEROPLANES, INCLUDING 182, 150, 152 AND ALSO PA28, CHEROKEE WARRIOR, SEMINOLE SENECA, AND CESSNA 310. WELL MAINTAINED AIRCRAFT, AND GOOD QUALITY INSTRUCTORS, MANY OF WHOM ARE ENGLISH EX-PATS. YOU WILL FIND THAT THE FAA MULTI IS A VERY GOOD RATING, WHICH IS READILY ACCEPTED BY THE CAA.

GOOD LUCK - BOTH ARE WORTHY SCHOOLS, ALTHOUGH PERSONALL I THINK RAINBOW HAS A BETTER FLEET.

Dave Parsons is part owner at Rainbow Air a Brit who went to the US many years ago and after finding Long Beach never left.

A huge recomendation for him and his school.
