Ali,
In this wonderful world with the web and all, suggest you surf over to yahoo.com and type in "airline" in the search field. Just did so and the result was "296 categories and 1112 sites for airline". Upon completion, continue with the keyword "airways" which will prompt "11 categories and 142 sites" on that search.
Should keep you busy for a few hours
In other words, you'll have to do a lot of legwork to land a flying job and do not expect anyone to do it for you ...

Flight International publish a directory of airlines annually; I believe it may be available through their website: it's something like www.flightinternational.com or their publisher's site at www.reedbusiness.com. Flyer magazine also publish a 'learn to fly' book bi-annually with lots of good info (including addresses) in. It's available through WHSmiths for about £4.

Sorry if I'm barking up the wrong tree, but I think you will find that a rather helpful chap produced a list on an earlier thread, it's probably around page 15 or so now. It's also on the archives at the bottom of the 1st forum page, I think it's wannabee archives, called 'airline list '....If you knew this already I will shut up and get back in my box...

Hey Rich. I'm sure I cant tell you anything you havnt read on the pages of prune. In summary the tuition is great both gound and flight. The management leaves alot to be desired however and there is a shortage of arrows and senecas so expect to be there about 3 months longer than the sponsored guys. It'll be interesting to see how the new base (where all VFR training up to the CPL skill test will take place) affects the situation. In the last 6 months or so the college have made a big effort to help the self sponsored that perform well get introduced to airlines - certainly a step in the right direction. If you have any specific questions dont hesitate to ask. General opinion at the school is that its the best of a bad lot although when bae get it together with the ground school at Jerez that could change. Ali

There is a company called Co-Pilot Publications who produce a great booklet which lists all the current info on all UK airlines. It has the basics - address, tel nos but also very useful info such as Who to write to, What Hours they require, whether they want multi time or turbo prop time, what Fleet they have, etc. I found it very useful. They also do airline briefing packs for specific airline interviews.
Don't know if they are still around, I would think so. They used to advertise every week in the back pages of Flight International. Last number I had for them was 01903 248862.
You have to pay for the initial book of contact info and that also includes a years worth of updates, so you always have the latest info.

They also used to run a very good, twice-yearly, employment seminar at Heathrow. Haven't heard of one for a while, but then I haven't been looking. They are/were an excellent organisation.
